Freelance Social Media Manager | Blue Cat Media & Design

Overview: As a freelance social media manager for Blue Cat Media & Design, I took over her social media strategy, content, and engagement. As a brand and web designer, Blue Cat Media & Design’s content revolved around displaying their latest client work, providing brand and web design tips, and inspiring other female entrepreneurs and business owners.

Responsibilities: I wrote, proofread, and edited creative copy; created or sourced all graphics; and posted or scheduled the content on Instagram and Facebook. I also created IG highlight covers and highlights, engaged with followers, responded to messages, communicated with potential clients, and increased overall brand awareness.

In addition to feed content, I created a social media strategy and posting schedule, a hashtag guide, and documents and files containing social media tips and tricks that she could continue to implement after our time together.

Results: During my time managing Blue Cat Media & Design’s social media, I increased her Instagram followers by over 120%.
