Orange International Street Fair (OISF) One Sheet | 714Tickets
September 2018 & 2019
Overview: As a ticket broker, 714Tickets’ content revolved around the latest news and events in sports, concerts, and the theatre industry. They loved to be involved and give back to the community and one way they did so was by attending the Orange International Street Fair (OISF) every Labor Day weekend. The OISF was held in the Orange circle and featured booths with local businesses, artisans, and international food. It was a great way for 714Tickets to spread their name through traditional grassroots marketing. The one sheet was a way to provide information about 714Tickets to attendees amongst the community with the goal of converting them to customers.
Responsibility: It was my responsibility to create and design the 714Tickets OISF one sheet to promote 714Tickets at the Orange International Street Fair Labor Day weekend 2018 and 2019.
Design: The design was based on the Anaheim Visitor’s Guide magazine advertisement I designed a couple of years prior. On the front, I used the 714Tickets logo, brand colors, a photo, map, and key business information. Their brand colors were used to break up the information into quadrants, separating their contact information from business highlights. The photo of the front of their office and the map were added to help people easily recognize and distinguish their location. I also included a discount code to entice potential customers and to track KPIs.
On the back, I utilized their brand colors to create columns to highlight upcoming concerts, sports, and theatre events and local venues. I made sure the events I included were largely recognizable by attendees and that the date was far enough in advance that people could still purchase tickets.
Once complete, the one sheet was reviewed several times. After it was approved by the owner, it was professionally printed locally before Labor Day weekend.
Distribution: Once the one sheet was printed, it was distributed at the 714Tickets booth at the OISF throughout Labor Day weekend. It was handed directly to attendees and placed on the booth table for them to take. In addition, the one sheet was also displayed in 714Tickets, dispersed at other community events, placed in giveaway or grab bags, and distributed at local restaurants and stores.
Since most one sheets being distributed were printed on traditional copy paper, the postcard shape and card stock were intentionally chosen to stand out amongst all other one sheets the attendees would have collected.
