Disney Incredible Discounts Directory (IDD) & Disneyland Resort Line Magazine | 714Tickets

Overview: As a ticket broker, 714Tickets’ content revolved around the latest news and events in sports, concerts, and the theatre industry. The Disney Incredible Discounts Directory was a yearly booklet compiled of discounts from local businesses exclusively for Disneyland cast members. The Disneyland Resort Line Magazine was a monthly magazine compiled of cast member highlights, park information, and discounts from local businesses exclusively for Disneyland cast members.

Responsibility: As marketing director, it was one of my responsibilities to create and design the Disney IDD and Disneyland Resort Line Magazine advertisement for 714Tickets.

Design: I created this ad design to be bright and clean, using 714Tickets brand colors and logo. I used a large version of their logo at the top of the ad and a small version in a collage as the background. I add the semi-transparent collage background to add interest to the ad, but not distract from the information. As the ad was small, I made sure to only include key business highlights and contact information. I created and added a QR code for cast members to quickly scan and be taken directly to the 714Tickets website homepage. On the right, I made the discount very large so when cast members were flipping through the directory or magazine, it would stand out to them. The discount code was included to entice potential customers and to track KPIs.

The IDD was printed in both English and Spanish so I created a Spanish language version of the ad to appeal to Spanish speaking cast members and potential customers. I used Google Translate to convert the English text to Spanish and then it was checked for accuracy by a bilingual associate. The (714) BOLETOS phone number was purchased to keep consistency with the main phone number of (714) TICKETS.

The same ad was used in the directory and magazine to keep consistency and help cast members easily recognize and remember the ad month after month.

Distribution: The Disney IDD was created yearly and the Disneyland Resort Line Magazine was updated monthly. Both were distributed to cast members in their break rooms and offices, displayed backstage on newsstands, and at TEAM Centers.
